Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/Journeywoman (Construction) to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine plumbing installations.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Perform pipe threading and assembly of plumbing components as required.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with construction teams on remodeling projects to ensure proper plumbing installation.
- Demonstrate knowledge of HVAC systems as they relate to plumbing installations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites while adhering to safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
- Mandarin language is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials needed for projects.
- Experience with heavy lifting is essential for transporting materials on job sites.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.77-$55.11 per hour
