Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper/Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in supporting food preparation, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients
- Support cooking activities by following recipes and instructions from senior kitchen staff
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety standards and regulations
- Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Serve food efficiently to customers or dining areas as needed
- Help with meal assembly and plating to ensure presentation standards are met
- Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality control
Skills
- Experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
