Responsibilities
- Deliver professional hair cutting, styling, and grooming services tailored to client preferences
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in accordance with health regulations
- Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
- Stay current with industry trends and techniques to provide innovative styling options
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barber or Stylist with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and retain clients
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques for men and women
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures in a salon environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Ability to upsell retail products and promote salon services confidently
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred
