Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of baked goods, with an emphasis on donut decorating and presentation.
- Assist in food preparation tasks including mixing, baking, and packaging products for sale or delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Handle food products safely, ensuring proper storage and handling procedures are followed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs professionally.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, supporting overall restaurant operations.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Ensure all food products meet quality standards before serving or packaging.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery environment is highly preferred.
- Skills in cake decorating and food presentation are desirable.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and kitchen procedures is essential.
- Experience with baking, cooking, and general food preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Familiarity with the food industry standards for hygiene and safety is required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Prior experience in food packaging and maintaining cleanliness in a busy kitchen setting is advantageous.
