Role Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise crews and coordinate daily field activities.
- Assist the Foreman with manpower planning and labour allocation.
- Conduct or participate in daily toolbox talks and hazard assessments.
- Monitor productivity and communicate concerns affecting schedule or budget.
- Coordinate material requests, deliveries, and staging.
- Ensure timesheets, FLHAs, inspections, and documentation are completed accurately.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation of new workers to site expectations.
- Step into the Foreman role during absences or on smaller projects.
- Demonstrates visible safety leadership and promotes a proactive safety culture
Role Requirements:
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Able to produce quality documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Physically able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs
- Valid Alberta driver's license and willingness to travel
- Journeyman Electrician - Red Seal preferred
- Valid CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid and Fall Protection certificates
