Role Description
This is a full-time Territory Sales Manager role based in Edmonton, AB. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and growing sales across Northern Alberta and Saskatchewan by identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and promoting Capital Gear’s product portfolio.
Day-to-day activities include:
- Visiting customers on-site
- Conducting product presentations
- Preparing quotes
- Following up on leads to close sales
- Building strong relationships with customers
- Understanding customer operational and technical needs
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate orders, timely delivery, and after-sales support
- Monitoring market trends
- Providing feedback to management
- Participating in sales forecasting, reporting, and periodic training sessions
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills to engage with clients, understand requirements, and provide clear, professional support.
- Proven sales and sales management abilities, including territory planning, pipeline development, and consistent achievement of sales targets.
- Experience training customers or team members on product features, applications, and best practices is an asset.
- Familiarity with automotive, heavy-duty, industrial, or off-highway equipment; drivetrain or powertrain product knowledge is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in the field, organize travel and appointments, and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and basic office software for sales reporting, quoting, and documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related technical field is an asset; equivalent experience will be considered.
Pay: $50,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
