Responsibilities
- Assist with routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment
- Perform basic troubleshooting of mechanical issues
- Help with equipment setup, changeovers, and adjustments
- Maintain tools, parts inventory, and a clean work area
- Support preventative maintenance programs
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Work with production team to minimize downtime
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge or hands-on experience (work, school, or personal)
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
- Mechanical or millwright apprenticeship (1st–2nd year) is an asset, but not required
Nice to Have (Assets)
- Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment
- Basic electrical or pneumatic knowledge
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
