We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals from Vancouver and surrounding areas to join our team for the summer season at Orchard Vine, our wine shop located in the heart of the Okanagan.
Location: Keremeos, BC – a small town in the South Okanagan known for its orchards, wineries, and relaxed summer lifestyle.
Position Details
- Season: May to early September (with potential extension to late November)
- Schedule: Approximately 5 days per week
- Pay: Starting at $18.25/hour
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist with wine purchases
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions
- Restock shelves and maintain product displays
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and well-presented
- Provide excellent customer service and basic product knowledge
- Support general day-to-day shop operations
Requirements
- Under the age of 30
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Must meet legal age requirements to sell alcohol in BC
- Available to work a consistent weekly schedule
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs
