Birdman is the newest restaurant from the team behind Wind Cries Mary and Rudi, two restaurants known for quality food, strong teams, and exceptional guest experiences. We're looking for hardworking, dependable individuals to join our kitchen team as a Dishwasher / Prep Cook.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in keeping things organized, and wants the opportunity to learn and grow in a professional kitchen.
What You'll Be Doing
- Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dish area
- Assist with basic food preparation including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients
- Receive and organize deliveries
- Support cooks and chefs with daily prep tasks
- Assist with cleaning and closing duties at the end of the night
- Help ensure the kitchen is set up for success each day
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
- Ability to follow direction and stay organized
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work and being on your feet for extended periods
- Previous kitchen experience is an asset but not required
Important Schedule Information
Birdman is a late-night restaurant, and successful applicants must be available to work evening shifts and remain on shift until approximately 1:00 AM. Reliability for closing shifts is essential.
