Bartender/ Server

Luxe Bistro is a busy modern steakhouse/bistro with multiple event spaces. We have been operating for over twenty years in the By-ward market.
We are currently seeking a full-time, experienced Bartender/ Server to join our team. Candidates must have open availability with no scheduling restrictions, and bring the skills and professionalism to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of bartending experience
- Minimum 3 years of serving experience
- Strong working knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer
- Experience with craft cocktails and high end wine service
- A polished and professional approach to bartending/ serving
- Passion for hospitality
- Self-starter
- Bilingual (English & French)
Key responsibilities:
- Mix and serve cocktails to spec and speed
- Provide recommendations for wine , beer and cocktails
- Provide oustanding service to bar guests and create for drinks for restaurant service
- Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, and bar setup
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
- Assist with inventory and stock rotation
- Execute daily and weekly cleaning, prep, and closing duties
