Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a love for creating delicious pizzas. Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and guest preferences.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation of other menu items as needed, including appetizers and salads.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of all dishes served.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management.
Experience
- Previous experience of atleast one year in a restaurant or food service environment is required, particularly in pizza cooking or similar roles.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and pizza stones is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality meals.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
