Overview
IVIS Is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and proficiency with industry-standard management software. This role offers an opportunity to lead diverse projects, ensure quality standards, and maintain safety compliance across all phases of construction. The Construction Superintendent will be instrumental in driving project success through effective supervision, meticulous planning, and collaboration with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget
- Supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain high performance and safety standards
- Develop and review project schedules using Service Fusion Scheduler and other construction management software
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution
- Oversee quality control measures to ensure adherence to specifications and industry standards
- Coordinate with project managers on budgeting, resource allocation, and procurement activities
- Monitor progress through regular site inspections and adjust plans as necessary to address issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times
- Utilize tools like Service Fusion for documentation, communication, and project tracking
- Prepare reports on project status, risks, and issues for stakeholders
Qualifications
- Proven experience supervising small to medium-scale construction projects with a strong track record of successful delivery
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Service Fusion and other relevant tools
- Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, construction estimating, and budgeting principles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams effectively
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Prior experience in quality control procedures and safety compliance in the construction industry
- Construction-related certifications or licenses are preferred but not mandatory
This role is vital for ensuring the seamless execution of construction projects while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Pay: $90,000.00-$115,465.08 per year
