Norcard Enterprises Ltd. is a distributor of gift and stationery product in Canada. We are growing again and currently looking for a dynamic, energetic person who loves the satisfaction of a job well done to work in our distribution warehouse as a Pick & Pack/Fulfillment Associate. This candidate must be multitasking oriented with the ability to think on their feet. You will be working independently and must have a sense of urgency and understand the importance of meeting deadlines.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Accurately and efficiently simultaneously pick and pack customer orders using a computerized scanning/bin system and appropriate courier software
- Accurately and efficiently assemble packages of greeting cards for receiving once cards have been printed; this includes envelopes and appropriate headers, in addition to external packaging as required - all while maintaining quality control
- Ensure all inbound packages arrive free of external package damage and, if a damage is present, note with the courier driver prior to accepting the packages
- Accurately and efficiently receive inbound shipments using our computerized software
- Quickly and accurately complete put-away functions for new and overstock items according to their proper bin location
- Maintain aisle checklist for appropriately assigned areas of the warehouse on a weekly basis ensuring bins are full, barcode labels and license plates are present and the warehouse remains tidy
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized workstation at all times
- Accurate cycle counting on a predetermined schedule
- Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50lbs when required
- Assemble and coordinate trade show product as directed
