We’re currently seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Sales Manager to join our Sales Management team and play an active, hands-on role in our showroom.
This position is ideal for a sales-focused leader who enjoys being directly involved in selling vehicles while supporting smooth daily sales operations.
Position Overview
The Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible for actively selling new and pre-owned vehicles, appraising trade-ins, and managing their clients through the entire sales process—from first contact to vehicle delivery. In addition, this role will assist with day-to-day sales operations and support the overall efficiency of the sales department.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Management
- Actively sell new and pre-owned vehicles.
- Manage customer relationships from initial inquiry through delivery and follow-up.
- Provide a transparent, professional, and customer-first buying experience.
- Assist customers in selecting vehicles that best fit their needs and lifestyle.
- Maintain a high CSI Rating and facilitate Google Reviews.
Appraisals & Deal Support
- Appraise customer trade-in vehicles accurately and fairly.
- Assist with deal structuring and negotiations in accordance with dealership policies.
- Ensure all required sales documentation is accurate and complete.
Sales Operations Support
- Support daily showroom operations and sales activity.
- Assist with inventory presentation and vehicle merchandising.
- Ensure compliance with dealership standards, OEM guidelines, and provincial regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of proven success in automotive vehicle sales.
- Experience appraising vehicles and handling full sales transactions independently.
- OMVIC certification required
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Professional, customer-focused approach with high integrity.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work evenings and Saturdays as required.
