Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Yard & Sales Support / Equipment Prep Technician to join our team at Bobcat of Comox Valley. This role is essential in maintaining an organized, safe, and customer-ready dealership environment while supporting both the sales and service departments. The ideal candidate will take pride in keeping equipment clean, organized, and properly prepared for customer delivery. This position is well suited to someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating equipment, and working in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing dealership yard, ensuring equipment and attachments are properly displayed and easy to locate
- Arrange and stage equipment to support customer experience and sales presentation
- Prepare machines for customer delivery, including cleaning, fueling, and performing final inspections
- Ensure decals, safety features, attachments, and components are properly installed and in good condition
- Confirm all manuals, accessories, and attachments are included with each machine prior to delivery
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment safely and efficiently
- Move and position equipment using forklifts or machinery as required
- Support the sales team with machine setup, display preparation, and customer deliveries
- Assist the service department with basic support tasks and equipment movement as needed
- Assist with outgoing rentals and rental returns
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized, workplace environment.
- Support day-to-day dealership operations and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Mechanical aptitude or an interest in equipment and machinery
- Ability to lift, move, and safely work around heavy equipment
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong organizational skills and ability to take initiative
- Ability to work independently and proactively spot task that require attention.
- A customer-centric mindset and strong communication skills are key
- Experience operating construction, compact equipment, and agricultural equipment

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
