Power Express is a courier service, providing local deliveries to our customers within the greater Edmonton area.
Position Summary:
Power Express is looking for a permanent full-time Customer Service Representative / Call Taker, someone who can give quotes, do billing, as well as answer incoming calls and transfer the relative information into a computer program. The ideal candidate will also be courteous, kind, and provide great customer service to our customers.
Reporting to the Dispatcher, the Call Taker is responsible for handing inbound calls from customers as well as ability to do filing and help-out with accounts receivable.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to a variety of calls from existing or new customers.
- Create customer loyalty by providing friendly and efficient service.
- Provide customer support by addressing questions, problems, or requests for service.
- Handle a high volume of calls using a multi line phone system.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Basic technical and computer skills with fast typing and accurate data entry skills.
- A team player who is focused on providing exceptional service and a customer focused attitude with the ability to take direction, work independently and work well with others.
- Must be able to prioritize and multi-task including being able to remain flexible in continually changing and fast paced situations.
- Ability to work with time constraints in a complex environment
- Possess advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively manage issues.
Schedule / Salary: TBD upon hire and experience
- Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
