Hansen Industries is looking to hire a Punch Press Operator to join our high-volume stamping shop.
Job Responsibilities:
- Check tonnage and lead setting during set-up
- Ensure all reporting is as per the instructions provided
- Inspect all designated parts continually as instructed
- Prepare the press for the die by ensuring the working area is clean and all unnecessary items are removed
- Ensure that die is properly placed on machine
- Adjust lead setting
- Supply Last-off progressive strip and two Last-off parts on tool when finished production run
- Clean up die with air blower at end of each coil
- Ensure all parts are identified correctly and information on labels is correct and legible
- Assist with coil changes
The hours would be from 7:30 am to 4.00 pm
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Candidate will be trained
- Candidate must be safety oriented
- Experience in similar industry an asset
We are Precision Sheet Metal, Machining and Stamping Shop located in Richmond, BC. We are easily accessible by transit(Bridgeport Skytrain station is close by).
