As a part time member of our Collision Reporting Centre team in Kingston, you'll play an important role in assisting motorists following a collision. Your responsibilities will include preparing motor vehicle collision reports for Police, photographing damaged vehicles, and guiding drivers through the initial stages of reporting their collision to their insurer. To support operational needs, you will also have the opportunity to work at our Belleville Collision Reporting Centre from time to time, providing valuable support across both locations.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, determine their needs & direct them accordingly
- Respond to telephone inquiries or forward callers to the appropriate person or authority
- Provide general information regarding the legal responsibilities of drivers with respect to reporting a motor vehicle collision (MVC) to Police & Insurance Companies
- Evaluate whether an MVC meets the eligibility requirements to be reported at the collision reporting centre (CRC)
- Verify driver documents (licence, ownership and insurance)
- Interview drivers to determine collision details
- Data enter information using custom software in order to produce MVC report for Police, Insurance and MTO
- File reports or retrieve as required;
- Photograph vehicle damage & upload images into MVC report
- Organize & co-ordinate work flow between CRC & Police personnel
- Operate digital scanner to transfer paper documents to digital file database
- Assist drivers in initial stages of reporting to Insurance

Minimum Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work;
- One to two (1-2) years of experience in an accounting, administration, customer service or retail position; previous experience with data entry is an asset;
- Able to undergo and pass additional background testing; complete criminal background check;
- Available to work a minimum availability of 25 hours per week;
- Available to work flexible hours and shifts as required;
- Excellent keyboarding and customer service skills are a requirement;
- Proficient written and oral communication skills;
- Must have high attention to detail;
- Must have basic knowledge of computer programs;
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision; and
- Must have the ability to manage frequently changing priorities in a fast paced and often high-pressure environment
