Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Farm Hand to join our team. This role involves assisting with daily farm operations such as milking cows, washing and maintaining equipment and keeping up with routine maintenance on the property. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, willingness to learn and take direction well.
6:30am start
WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS MANDATORY!
Responsibilities
- Milk cows when needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Use hand tools and power tools for repairs, building structures, or installing equipment.
- Conduct general farm maintenance including fencing repairs, building/property repairs.
- Follow safety protocols during all farm activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist the Barn Manager with daily tasks.
Requirements
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance procedures is an asset but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
