Mianco Group is seeking an experienced Diesel Field Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of dump trucks, roll-off trucks, pickup trucks, excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and more. This is a field-based role, reporting to our Fleet Manager. You’ll be working independently in the field and at job sites, handling breakdowns, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and trucks in the field
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and emergency repairs
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and operations staff
- Respond to after-hours emergency repairs when needed
- Road-test vehicles (if AZ/DZ license is held – asset)
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working on diesel trucks & heavy equipment
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Welding/fabrication experience (an asset)
- Valid G license (AZ/DZ is an asset, not required)
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Physically fit – able to lift heavy parts, stand for long hours

Schedule & Work Conditions
- Shift: 8-10 hour shift (varies as needed)
- Weekends & On-Call: Required based on emergencies
- Service Area: GTA
