Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) continuously to detect suspicious activity and ensure the safety of the premises.
- Control access to the facility by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed.
- Implement loss prevention measures by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting any suspicious behavior.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to security protocols and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Strong surveillance skills with proficiency in operating CCTV systems.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and best practices for deterring theft and vandalism.
- Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts.
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Good communication skills for clear reporting and coordination with team members and authorities.
- Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining focus on surveillance tasks.
