Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal landscape health and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of horticulture, landscape maintenance, and mechanical systems, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality service. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems across various landscapes.
- Perform routine maintenance on irrigation equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to complete tasks efficiently.
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for system installation or repairs when necessary.
- Conduct landscape maintenance including gardening and horticultural duties to support healthy plant growth.
- Assist with construction projects related to landscape improvements or infrastructure upgrades.
- Diagnose issues with irrigation or landscape systems and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for each project.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations and maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience with irrigation systems, landscape maintenance, or horticulture preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, piping, and system components.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators.
- Strong understanding of gardening, horticulture practices, and landscape care.
- Experience with excavation work is a plus.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for irrigation and landscape systems.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and operating machinery.
- Valid driver’s license preferred; willingness to travel between job sites as needed.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
