What You'll Do
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
- Install and integrate mechanical, electrical and marine components
- Complete final assembly, rigging, and outfitting of custom aluminum boats
- Perform custom installations and modifications based on customer specifications
- Fabricate and fit brackets, mounting solutions, and other components as required
- Route, terminate, and secure wiring harnesses and electrical systems
- Troubleshoot fitment, installation, and system issues during assembly
- Work closely with drafting, welding, and production teams to ensure builds meet specifications
- Conduct quality inspections and testing to ensure a high standard of workmanship
- Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute ideas to solve unique build challenges
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What We're Looking For
- Experience in marine, automotive, RV, heavy equipment, electrical, instrumentation, or related industries is preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics
- Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Experience with 12V/24V electrical systems is an asset
- Ability to adapt to changing build requirements and custom configurations
- Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently while contributing to a team environment
- Creative problem-solver who enjoys finding practical solutions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic shop calculations
- Own basic hand tools
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
