Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist Manager to lead our pharmacy operations and partnership opportunity. Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications and review prescriptions for appropriateness.
- Provide professional counseling to patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
- Provision of Professional Services (medschecks, pharmaceutical opinion) and Expanded Scope
- Ensure compliance with all federal and provincial pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to optimize patient treatment plans.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Support pharmacy operations, including customer service and administrative duties.
- Stay current with industry regulations, new medications, and best practices in pharmacy management
Requirements
- Must have Ontario college of pharmacy license (required).
- Minimum of 2 year of experience in a community pharmacy setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with FILLWARE software is an asset.
