Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational tasks across our facilities, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and supplies
- Support the setup and breakdown of work areas for different projects
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Operate basic tools and equipment as needed, following safety protocols
- Support team members with various manual tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving items
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a secure work environment
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors promptly
- Ability to read a tape measure
Experience
- Prior experience in manual labour or the glass industry is advantageous but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding (lift 25 lbs min) tasks for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
