Avalon Foster Program is looking for an energetic and skilled Child and Youth Worker to support three to four teens in a foster home in the south end of Guelph, Ontario.
This position involves working Sunday (during the day) to Thursday (after school and in the evening). Hours would range from 30-40 per week, depending on the number of teens in the home at any given time.
Preference will be given to candidates with a degree or diploma in a related field. College or university students with related experience will also be considered! Experience working in foster or group care would be an asset. A vehicle is required.
The wage for this position is $25 per hour, which includes the wage enhancement from the Ontario government.
