What You Will Do
- Develop project plans, identifying critical milestones and dependencies that are accurate and reduce time slicing as much as possible. Work with the delivery team to identify best use of capacity, book work in larger blocks to reduce project durations and ensure that the client resources are available as needed to allow for efficient progress.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Facilitate regular project status meetings, provide updates to stakeholders, and address any issues or concerns that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate and timely project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and action items.
- Implement quality control measures to monitor project progress and ensure deliverables meet or exceed company standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide guidance, support, and motivation to project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
- Monitor the profitability of the project. Proactively identify budget risks and escalate financial and quality concerns to the PMO early.
- Ensure timely escalation of issues that could negatively impact customer experience or CSAT to the PMO.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate project record data in the PMO Project List (Running Projects).
- Lead project closure activities, including project completion, documentation, and CSAT review.
- Capture lessons learned and contributed insights back to the PMO for continuous improvement.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience as a Project or Program Manager, preferably leading Microsoft-centric projects (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Azure, Power Platform).
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects (of all sizes) simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies including Waterfall and Agile delivery and strong familiarity with project management tools, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with client stakeholders and delivery teams at all levels of the organization.
- Strong delivery discipline, proactive risk management, and consistent reporting.
