Job Description:
We are seeking a creative, reliable, and detail-oriented Floral Assistant to join our team. As a floral assistant, you will support our lead florists in designing, preparing, and maintaining floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, corporate events, holidays, and daily orders.
This is a hands-on role that requires a love for flowers, a good eye for design, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and assembly of floral arrangements and bouquets
- Unpack, trim, and care for fresh flowers and greenery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and flower cooler
- Help set up floral installations for events and deliveries
- Manage inventory of floral supplies and report shortages
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients in-store or during deliveries
- Support florists if with daily tasks and special projects as needed
- Film floral arrangements, bouquets, workshops, and behind-the-scenes content. Create short-form videos and reels for social media
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Confident in independently leading and teaching small workshops
Requirements:
- Passion for flowers and floral design
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design instructions
- Comfortable working on your feet and lifting buckets or boxes of flowers
- Previous experience in a flower shop or similar environment is required, at least have 1 year expericece.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work weekends or holidays if needed
