Semi Vac Truck Operator – Responsibilities
- Operate vac truck equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and complete required paperwork (logs, FLHAs, tickets, etc.)
- Set up/operate hoses, fittings, and vacuum systems
- Communicate with dispatch/supervisors and follow site procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of truck and equipment
- Work safely in industrial/oilfield environments and follow company/site policies
Requirements (Operators)
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license with clean abstract
- Previous vac truck experience preferred (will consider strong applicants)
- Safety-focused and reliable attendance
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather and handle physical tasks
- Comfortable with longer shifts and occasional travel (as needed)
Tickets/Certifications (Assets or Required)
- H2S Alive *required
- Standard First Aid/CPR *required
- CSO / CSTS / OSSA (or equivalent)
- Ground Disturbance Level II
- Confined Space / Fall Protection
