Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality food preparation and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and a passion for creating delicious sandwiches that satisfy our customers' tastes. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company recipes and customer specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environment preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Kitchen or food industry experience is desirable but not required
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks effectively
Pay: $16.60-$18.00 per hour
