We are seeking an experienced Warranty Supervisor / Carpenter to join our team, specializing in high-end custom homes and renovations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, client relationships, and delivering an exceptional post-construction experience.
About the Role
The Warranty Supervisor / Carpenter is responsible for managing warranty service work, addressing deficiencies, and completing hands-on carpentry tasks to maintain the quality and reputation of our projects. You will act as the primary point of contact for homeowners during the warranty period, ensuring all concerns are handled promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all warranty-related service requests for completed projects
- Perform hands-on carpentry work including adjustments, repairs, and finishing deficiencies
- Conduct warranty walkthroughs and inspections with homeowners
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, trades, and internal team members
- Coordinate and schedule trades for warranty work when required
- Maintain detailed records of warranty items, service work, and resolutions
- Ensure all work meets company standards, building codes, and warranty requirements
- Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate
Qualifications
- Journeyman Carpenter (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in residential construction, with a focus on high-end custom homes
- Strong finishing carpentry skills and attention to detail
- Experience in deficiency management and service work is an asset
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks/projects
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
