Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced live-in home caregiver to provide personalized care and daily support in a private household. The ideal candidate must be fluent in both French and Haitian Creole to ensure effective communication and to help create a trusting and comfortable environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, respectful, and compassionate care
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, personal hygiene)
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties (laundry, tidying, organizing)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report any changes in health or behavior
- Accompany the client to appointments or outings as needed
Requirements
- Fluency in French and Haitian Creole (required)
- Experience in home care or elder care (an asset)
- Patient, trustworthy, and dependable
- Ability to work independently and maintain a structured routine
- Valid references
- First Aid/CPR certification (an asset)
