GlacierFlow Plumbing & Heating is a locally owned and rapidly growing residential and commericla service company serving homeowners and businesses throughout Calgary and surrounding communities.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and gas systems in commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems
- Service and install water heaters, fixtures, faucets, toilets, sump pumps, and water treatment equipment
- Perform drain cleaning and troubleshooting
- Complete plumbing inspections and maintenance services
- Communicate solutions clearly and professionally with homeowners
- Prepare accurate service recommendations and estimates
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory
- Ensure all work complies with Alberta plumbing codes and safety standards
- Complete service documentation using mobile technology
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience on every call

Qualifications
- Alberta Journeyman Plumber Certificate or Red Seal Certification
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
Preferred
- Residential service plumbing experience
- Gasfitter B Ticket
- Experience with tankless water heaters
- Experience with boilers and hydronic heating systems
- Drain cleaning and camera inspection experience
