Job Summary
We are actively hiring experienced Surface Diamond Drillers for immediate and upcoming exploration projects throughout British Columbia.
We are looking for hardworking, safety-focused drillers who are mechanically inclined, physically capable, and experienced working in remote camp environments. This is an opportunity for long-term, ongoing work with a growing drilling team.
Our crews typically work rotational schedules averaging 84+ hours per week, providing strong overtime earning potential in addition to competitive hourly wages and production bonuses.
Responsibilities
· Operate surface diamond drilling equipment safely and efficiently
· Handle rods, drilling tools, core samples, and drilling fluids
· Monitor drilling performance, productivity, and equipment condition
· Perform pre-start inspections, basic maintenance, and equipment cleaning
· Maintain pumps, water systems, and related drilling equipment
· Assist with drill moves, setup, anchoring, and site preparation
· Complete daily paperwork, operational reporting, and safety documentation
· Maintain safe work practices and a clean, organized work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of surface diamond drilling experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to work safely in remote camp environments
- Physically fit and capable of demanding field work
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing if required
Certifications & Requirements
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (or equivalent)
- Standard First Aid CPR-C
- WHMIS Certification
- BC Transportation Endorsement considered an asset
Schedule
- Rotational camp-based work schedules
- Typical rotations average 84+ hours per week
- Day and night shifts may be required
Compensation & Benefits
- $40.00–$50.00 per hour
- Up to $6.55/m production bonus
