Translink , based in [Kitchener / Waterloo Region], is hiring experienced AZ Team Drivers for a dedicated cross-border lane running from Kitchener, Ontario to California and back. This is one of our core lanes with established customers on both ends – steady, repeatable freight that runs year-round, not seasonal work that disappears in the slow months.
About the Lane:
- Dedicated round trip: Kitchener, ON to [Southern/Northern] California and back
- Approximately 9,500–10,500 km (roughly 6,000–6,500 miles) per round trip
- 100% drop and hook / no-touch freight – you drive, that's it
- Typical round trip takes 5–6 days running as a team
- Home every week after each round trip, usually [2 days] at home before your next dispatch
- Same route, same customers, same schedule – you'll know this lane like the back of your hand within a month
- Pre-planned loads, so you know your next move before you finish your current one

Requirements:
- Valid AZ licence with minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driver's abstract and CVOR (recent copies required at interview)
- Valid passport and ability to legally cross the US border (no criminal record restrictions that prevent US entry)
- FAST card an asset but not required
- Cross-border or long-haul experience strongly preferred
- Mountain driving experience an asset (this lane includes mountain passes)
- Comfortable with ELDs (we run [ELD provider])
