Operate a brand-new 2024 Western Star Soil King slinger truck on residential sites across Hamilton and the surrounding region. Hamilton-based, home every day — no long-haul, no living out of the truck.

What you'll do
- Operate the slinger truck safely and place stone and material accurately for basement floors, garage floors, driveways, service areas, and drainage work
- Load, transport, unload, and place construction materials as the job requires
- Work safely around excavations, crews, traffic control, and active construction sites
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and required logs
- Handle basic truck upkeep — fueling, cleaning, lubricating, daily checks — and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, crews, customers, and site personnel
What you need
- Stone slinger truck operating experience (min 5 years)
- Valid Ontario AZ driver's licence and a clean, insurable driver's abstract
- Construction site experience
- Safety-focused, dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- CSA-approved safety footwear and all required PPE worn on site at all times
Considered an asset: experience in residential concrete, drainage, or site servicing; mechanical aptitude and basic equipment maintenance; familiarity with Hamilton, Niagara, Cambridge, and Kitchener routes.
