Overview
We are seeking a skilled Hydrovac Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating hydrovac trucks safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of construction site safety, mechanical systems, and heavy machinery operation.
Responsibilities
- Operate hydrovac trucks and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform non-destructive excavation.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain and operate high-pressure water and vacuum systems.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and provincial/federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and crew members.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of hydrovac equipment.
- Complete daily inspection reports, logbooks, and job documentation.
- Identify potential hazards and report safety concerns immediately.
- Assist with manual labor and other field duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 3 Driver's License
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Previous hydrovac, vacuum truck, or construction experience preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
