Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Measure and cut metal roofing materials accurately using hand tools and power tools
- Install metal panels, flashing, and related roofing components according to project plans and safety guidelines
- Use caulking and sealing techniques to ensure waterproof integrity of roofing systems
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation processes
- Read and follow specifications to execute precise installations
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Assist with other construction tasks as needed, demonstrating versatility as a handyman
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in roofing, carpentry, and construction work
- Strong understanding of construction principles and carpentry techniques
- Experience with caulking for sealing joints and seams in roofing applications
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks
- Prior handyman experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across various trades
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
