We are COR and ISO 45001 certified, and we’re looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator to help us maintain our strong safety culture and compliance across all divisions.
What You’ll Do:
- Visit job sites regularly to ensure teams are working safely and using proper signage, PPE, and permits
- Support compliance with COR and ISO 45001 requirements and documentation
- Assist with internal and external audits, inspections, and safety reviews
- Coordinate toolbox talks, safety meetings, and basic training sessions
- Maintain accurate records for inspections, incidents, and safety activities
- Help investigate incidents and support corrective actions
- Work closely with project teams and supervisors to keep safety a top priority
- Create, submit, and enforce H&S plans for upcoming/ongoing projects
- Create and submit traffic control plans
- Submittals such as ROP's
- Plan, prepare, and present company wide H&S meetings
- Any other H&S related tasks/needs
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in a health and safety role (construction or environmental services preferred)
- Familiarity with COR and ISO 45001 standards
- Understanding of Ontario’s OHSA regulations
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Valid G Licence and ability to travel to job sites
- Health and safety certification or training (e.g. JHSC, WHMIS, etc.) is an asset
