Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations, assist with clerical tasks, and deliver excellent customer service. Your proactive approach and organizational skills will help keep our office running efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Customer & Front Office Support
Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
Respond to general customer inquiries and provide product or service information as required
Assist customers with order entry and processing when needed
Support Sales and Office staff with order documentation
Maintain accurate customer records and update information in internal systems (As needed)
- Warehouse/Office Administrative Support
Support shipping and receiving paperwork processes (Day & Ross, UPS, FedEX)
Assist with US Customs Paperwork Assist with tracking fleet, equipment, or compliance records as required (ELD Compliance, machine maintenance paperwork)
Assisting with website information (Uploading images, reviewing information, updating as necessary)
- Payroll and HR support (Possible Progressive Responsibility)
Note: Access to payroll and confidential HR information will be granted only upon internal employment status and demonstrated proficiency.
Assist with Payroll Preparation
Provide general HR support, including organizing and maintaining employee records, assist in performance management, assist with policy formatting and documentation updates
Participate in payroll processing and HR Admin functions
Requirements
- Proven clerical or administrative experience in an office setting, with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Software
- Excellent computer skills including data entry, typing speed, and familiarity with multi-line phone systems
- Strong customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to handle filing systems efficiently and perform proofreading accurately
Pay: From $22.50 per hour
