Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and developing mechanical systems and components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, proficiency with CAD software, and experience with system design and automation technologies.
As the successful candidate, you will have experience in a wide variety of building related projects from concept to completion. Duties include:
- Perform mechanical system design (HVAC, Plumbing)
- Perform design calculation as required (heat loss, heat gain, flow calculation)
- Learn the TWS design and drawing standards
- Ensure design complies to codes and regulations
- Work well independently or in a team environment
- Ensure projects are completed within allotted schedules and budgets, and to high quality standards
- Mentorship of new and junior employees is also a key part of this role in our organization
- Construction admin such as:
- Attend meetings with clients, Architects, trades
- Write site instructions, Change Orders
- Review shop drawings
- Perform site reviews as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mechanical HVAC & Piping System design.
- Proficient in use of AutoCAD
- Knowledge of ASHRAE Standards.
- Understand the Alberta Building Codes
- Technical competence and strong attention to detail.
- You are a self-starter, passionate about your work, enjoy being challenged
- Work well independently or in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team

Pay: $75,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
