Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences, possess strong communication skills, and be knowledgeable in food service operations. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained in accordance with health regulations
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth restaurant operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas before, during, and after service
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
Requirements
- Previous experience bartending preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cashiering and billing purposes
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively
- Experience with food handling, serving, and food preparation is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
