We are seeking an experienced Hydrovac Operator to join our growing team. This position requires a motivated individual who can work independently, communicate effectively with crews and clients, and adapt to changing job site conditions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate hydrovac trucks and related equipment safely and efficiently
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Conduct routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Identify underground utility hazards and work safely around existing infrastructure
- Complete daily logs, inspection reports, and required paperwork
- Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and field crews
- Assist with general labour duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid DZ driver's licence
- Previous hydrovac operating experience
- Clean driver's abstract
- Knowledge of safe excavation practices and underground utilities
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, and occasional weekends when required
Pay: $48.16 per hour
