Integrated Staffing is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor for our client in Hampton, NB. This is a hands on leadership role within a busy building materials yard, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced, customer facing environment and enjoys leading a team to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all yard operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and security
- Act as the primary liaison between customers, staff, management, vendors, and delivery personnel
- Supervise and support yard personnel to maintain high productivity and service standards
- Plan and coordinate receiving, unloading, and delivery schedules
- Ensure safe operation and maintenance of yard equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, saws, etc.)
- Manage scheduling for all yard staff (full-time and part-time)
- Monitor inventory levels, yard activity, and workflow processes
- Enforce safety policies and fire regulations; report hazards and unsafe behaviors
- Provide excellent customer service, assist customers as needed, and promote add on sales
- Train and mentor employees to uphold company standards
Qualifications
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, yard, or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of building materials (required)
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, banding machines, and power tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Customer service mindset with the ability to lead by example
- Fall arrest and/or elevated work platform certifications are considered an asset
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (or up to 100 lbs with assistance)
- Valid forklift certification preferred (training may be provided)
- CSA-approved steel-toe boots
- Reflective vest, hard hat, and eye protection required on site
- Reliable transportation to and from job site
What We Offer
- Pay: $22.00/hour + 4% vacation pay
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
