- Design and develop innovative API solutions that integrate seamlessly with AI technologies, including exploring Model Context Protocol (MCP) server implementations to enhance AI interactions with our optical design software
- Evaluate and propose multiple technical approaches for creating new APIs that will serve as the foundation for next-generation software capabilities
- Contribute to cross-platform development efforts, working with Linux and Windows environments to ensure compatibility across supported operating systems
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (must be in their penultimate or final year of the degree program)
- Experience with designing and developing C++ libraries and APIs
- Experience with AI programming, particularly with agentic systems and understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar technologies
- Proficiency in C# and .NET Framework is highly desirable
- Linux and cross-platform development experience is a valuable asset
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to clearly summarize technical work and findings
- Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with distributed teams
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while maintaining regular communication with team members
