As we continue to expand across the GTA, we are looking for a motivated and outgoing Business Development Representative to help grow new territories and build long-term customer relationships.
The Role
This is a true hunting sales role focused on building new business opportunities and developing a growing territory within the GTA. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, prospecting new customers, and driving continued sales growth through outbound sales activities.
You will work directly with contractors, industrial businesses, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and safety professionals to provide solutions in safety supplies, PPE, janitorial products, and industrial consumables.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, closing deals, and being part of a fast-paced, growing company where performance is rewarded.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities through:
- Cold calling
- In-person customer visits
- Networking and relationship building
- Email outreach and follow-up
- Build and manage a sales territory within the GTA
- Maintain strong CRM management and sales pipeline tracking
- Achieve monthly sales and gross margin targets
- Promote company initiatives, vendor promotions, and strategic product lines
- Conduct customer site visits and presentations
- Identify opportunities for ongoing account growth and long-term partnerships
- Work closely with internal sales and operations teams to ensure excellent customer service
- Stay informed on market trends, products, and competitor activity
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of B2B sales experience required
- Experience selling safety, industrial, or janitorial supplies is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve results
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting and cold calling
- Strong organizational and CRM management skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
