Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Food Prep team member to join our dynamic food service team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling and cashiering, with a strong focus on sanitation, food safety, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food prep areas and dining spaces in compliance with health regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure timely service by managing multiple tasks such as serving customers, food prep, and order fulfillment
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
- Provide friendly customer service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, cashiering, or food service roles within the restaurant or food industry preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Kitchen experience or restaurant background is a plus
