Overview
CTS - Coastal Transportation & Storage is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker/ Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to the loading, unloading, and distribution of products. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Duties
- Load and unload shipments efficiently and safely.
- Operate heavy equipment such as power pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.
- Perform order picking tasks accurately to fulfill customer orders.
- Assist in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all products are accounted for.
- Maintain organization within the warehouse to facilitate smooth operations.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse distribution practices.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely; certification is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $28.00 per hour
