Full-time | Commissary Kitchen – Toronto
Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Summerhill Market isn't your typical grocery store. We're a Toronto boutique grocer known for scratch-made prepared foods, freshly baked treats, and premium ingredients. Our Commissary Kitchen is where our team prepares thousands of fresh products every week, including our handcrafted juices made from fresh fruits and vegetables.
We're looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Juice Maker to join our Production team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with fresh produce, takes pride in consistency, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

Prepare fresh fruits and vegetables for daily juice production.

Wash, peel, trim, and cut produce using safe knife handling techniques.

Follow standardized recipes to produce consistent, high-quality juices.

Operate commercial juicing equipment safely and efficiently.

Measure ingredients accurately to ensure product consistency.

Package, label, and prepare finished products for distribution to our retail stores.

Monitor product quality and ensure freshness standards are maintained.

Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment.

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance procedures.

Assist with cleaning equipment and production areas at the end of each shift.

Previous experience in food production, commercial kitchens, produce preparation, or manufacturing is an asset.

Comfortable using knives with safe and efficient cutting techniques.

Able to accurately follow recipes and production specifications.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining consistency.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while contributing to a team.

Available to work the afternoon/evening shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM).
