Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Working the grill/preparing plates
- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to recipes and quality standards
- Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients and maintaining station cleanliness
- Help ensure efficient food service by coordinating with the kitchen team during busy hours
- Handle food safely, adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Maintain organized workstations and assist with inventory management of kitchen supplies
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
- Support the team in serving customers promptly and professionally during service hours
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under supervision
